The Fulton Liberty Lions' 25th annual festival on August 1 will celebrate "America's Story: 250 Years Strong" with a Noon Parade and many events at the Park.
The Parade will begin with a span of historical landmarks. Leading the way will be a drummer boy followed by two horse riders carrying the Betsy Ross Flag and the America 250 Flag. As the Scouts Color Guard pauses, a local resident will sing the National Anthem. Portraying aspects of our history, re-enactors will be Betsy Ross, pre-1800s Long Rifles, Abe Lincoln, and Johnny Appleseed, then representatives from World War II Living History and the 151 Co D Indiana rangers Vietnam Living History followed by the usual parade.
