The Cass County Board of Commissioners made the decision to allow the its burn ban to expire Monday at midnight.
Following the expiration of the burn ban the day to day open burning regulations are back in effect. They can be found here: https://www.in.gov/counties/cass/files/Ord.-23-16-Open-Burning-Regulations.pdf
Cass County officials do note that while there has been some rain they still encourage all to continue using caution with fire and familiarize with the open burning regulations. Those who disregard the burning regulations are still subject to fines.
