The Lawrence Public Library located in Lawrenceville is continuing its efforts to assist it's patrons and staff.
Library director Diane Brumley informed the Board of Trustees Tuesday night that over $27,000 in funding has been received from state library sources to upgrade and improve technology at the facility located at 814 12th Street.
Three areas receiving improvements include replacement of computers and computer monitors, creation of a new and updated library website and digitizing past yearbooks from the county schools.
The money has to be used and spent by the year 2026.
Brumley also announced that newly elected members to the Board of Trustees from the April 1st consolidated election would be formally seated at the May meeting.
