Marshall County Police arrested a Rochester man on Saturday after the report of a suspicious person on 15th Road.
On October 19th, at approximately 8:30 PM, The Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a phone call from a caller in the 19,000 block of 15th Road for the report of a suspicious male.
County Officers located an abandoned vehicle near the railroad tracks on 15th Road west of Thorn Road. The officers then located the owner of the vehicle, 46-year-old Kevin L. Brock of W. Willow Drive in Rochester.
During an investigation by Officer Wozniak, Brock was found to be in possession of paraphernalia that tested positive for methamphetamine and multiple pills that were not prescribed to him.
Officer Wozniak took Kevin Brock into custody and transported him to the jail. He was booked in for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, and possession of paraphernalia and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
Wagner’s Towing impounded the vehicle.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
