Bids for the work were opened earlier in the day and upon the recommendation of it's project engineers ADG of Mt Carmel, they approved the approximately $3.24 million dollar bid of A and W Plumbing and Heating of Murphysboro, Ill. Superintendent Doug Daugherty indicated after the bid approval that work would commence at the school as soon as possible. Many of the new HVAC units have already been delivered to the site. It is anticipated if all goes well, the project will be completed by October 1st.
