Since last week, Parke County deputies and area law enforcement were looking for Jonathan Curtis Lee Olson.
Olson, 22, of Terre Haute, was stopped by deputies in a vehicle in Lyford just after 12:30 a.m. Olson was a passenger in the vehicle.
Deputies reported that Olson was able to flee on foot and elude capture at the scene. He was wanted on a Level 2 Vigo County Warrant for Burglary with Serious Bodily Injury.
According to a post on Facebook by Vigo County Scanner, Olson was handcuffed when he escaped the scene.
Parke County Sheriff's Office posted thanks to the US Marshals Task Force and Terre Haute Police Department for their arrest of Olson. He was taken into custody at a residence in Terre Haute.
