The Illinois State Police, after a traffic stop this week arrested 40-year-old Stephen Ash of Sumner.
He was preliminarily charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Possession of a Firearm with no Firearm Owners Identification (FOID). Ash was transported to the Lawrence County Jail at Lawrenceville and was later released with a notice to appear in court.
Lawrenceville Police picked up a wanted Indiana man Tuesday. 48-year-old Stephen Small of Vincennes was being sought on an arrest warrant issued out of Lawrence County Circuit Court. He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held on that warrant pending a detention hearing.
