Authorities with both the Owen County Sheriff's Office and the Indiana State Police are asking for the public's help in locating an Owen County teenager that has been missing.
Lexie Mitchell, 17, was last seen in the Cunot area Tuesday morning and police believe she left the area around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Mitchell is believed to be a runaway juvenile and is described as a white female with long red or auburn hair and blue/green eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white jacket and, possibly, white boots.
Anyone with any information about where Mitchell may be is asked to contact their local police or the Owen County Dispatch Center at 812-829-4874.
