Airport lighting repair projects were reviewed by the Bi-State Authority at their regular monthly session Tuesday night at the Mid-American Air Center located northeast of Lawrenceville. Airport manager Kurt Schwartz told Giant-FM WAKO News that the facility recently suffered lightening damage to the east-west lighting circuits which control runway approach lighting. Repairs are currently underway and it is anticipated that if all goes well, the work could be completed by the upcoming weekend.
