Tragedy late last week in southwestern Indiana.
A Vincennes woman died in a two vehicle accident Friday evening in Gibson County.
The Vanderburgh County Coroners office identified the deceased as 53 year old Amy Wilson.
Wilson had previously been a Lawrence County Illinois resident and has relatives in both Lawrence and neighboring Richland County.
Preliminary reports indicate that a passenger vehicle pulled out from Main Street onto U.S. 41 at the North Patoka exit and into the path of an oncoming SUV.
The SUV then veered off the road into a guardrail and then flipped over onto its top.
The accident remains under investigation.
