The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced that a road closure of Indiana State Road 58 in both Knox and Daviess Counties is scheduled for next week.
Beginning Monday, crews will shut down the road between State Roads 57 and 67 near Elnora.
This will allow for a chip and seal project to improve and preserve the roadway.
The project is anticipated to take a week to complete, dependent upon weather conditions.
An official detour will be used with local traffic having access up to the point of closure.
Travelers are asked to be aware and use caution when in the construction area.
