Lawrenceville Police early Friday morning took a local woman into custody after a residential disturbance.
39-year-old Jessica Bartimus of Lawrenceville was charged with Domestic Battery and was booked into the Lawrence County Jail at Lawrenceville. She was being held there pending a detention hearing.
The Illinois State Police (ISP) report that 56-year-old Cherie Pilarowski of Vincennes was charged after a traffic stop Thursday in Westport in eastern Lawrence County. She committed the offense of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Pilarowski was transported to the Lawrence County jail and was later released with a notice to appear in court.
