More information has been released by authorities on the arrest of a Lawrence County man earlier this week. 28 year old Jordan Jones of Lawrenceville was picked up on an out of county warrant on Wednesday. The warrant was issued out of nearby Wayne County Illinois and charged Jones with 5 counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child. Additional information on the arrest was not released. Jones was transferred by the Wayne County Sheriffs Department to the Wayne County Jail where he remains in custody pending a court appearance.
