Blue River Community Foundation (BRCF) will once again host a summer scholarship workshop for Shelby County high school students on track to graduate by June 2026.
Students who attend will learn about scholarship opportunities available through BRCF, including the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship. Topics will include how to apply using BRCF’s online application, writing an expressive essay, selecting recommenders, preparing for interviews, and transitioning from high school to college. Attendees will also hear tips and insights from members of BRCF’s Alumni Scholar Alliance.
Interested students are encouraged to choose one of the following sessions:
June 19: 1 – 3:30 p.m.
July 10: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
