Due to high winds and dry conditions. fire officials in neighboring Richland County have issued a No Burn Advisory. The advisory means that county residents are advised to use caution and if possible refrain from any outside burning until conditions improve. The National Weather Service is forecasting the possibility of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening ahead of an approaching cold front. Some of these storms could be severe with hail and damaging winds the main threats. There is the possibility of isolated tornado activity in some of the stronger storms.
