Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop has announced that two local men were recently sentenced to prison in Lawrence County Circuit Court. 28 year old Quinton Owens of Lawrenceville pled guilty to a charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class 4 Illinois Felony and was given 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) to be followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release. 43 year old Jason Lents also of Lawrenceville was charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Illinois Felony. He received 3 years on each charge to be served consecutively along with 1 year of mandatory supervised release.
