The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for the entire WAKO listening area. It will be in effect from 12 a.m. CT until 8 a.m. CT Saturday. Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 degrees are expected during those hours as skies clear and cooler air is ushered in. The temperatures could cause frost and freeze conditions that could kill crops and other sensitive outdoor vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
