Over $155 million dollars in federal transportation funding is being awarded
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced this week that 51 counties, cities, and towns in rural parts of the Hoosier state will receive investment in local road, bridge, and sidewalk improvements.
Knox County is to be the recipient of just over $6.2 million for a planned bridge project on Mays Road. INDOT will also assist financially with design and engineering work and the acquisition of rights of way for the projects.
