The Lawrence County Board met in regular monthly session Wednesday afternoon at the courthouse in Lawrenceville. They moved to approve a bid from Tracy Electric in Lawrenceville for a heating and air condition project at the courthouse. They also approved the appropriation of funds for the salary of county engineer Aaron Mefford. The board's Building and Grounds committee is scheduled to meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the courthouse with ADG Engineering to discuss various planned building and grounds improvement and repair projects.
