The Lawrence County Unit #20 Board of Education met in regular session Tuesday night at Lawrenceville High School.
They approved after a public hearing the amended 2023-24 budget. They also approved upon recommendation of the Building and Grounds Committee $29, 900 be spent with J.W. Associates of Evansville for Parkview Junior High cafeteria equipment and $150,000 with Ambraw Asphalt for paving work on the westside parking lot at Parkside Elementary School. The fees for the 2024-25 school year were also approved. The board did accept the resignation of Jamie Schultz as district Athletic Director and administrator. She is leaving to become an assistant principal at Robinson High School.
