Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District (LAFPD) with mutual aid from the Bridgeport Fire District (BFD) responded Friday evening to a structure fire in Lawrenceville. Firefighters were dispatched to the fire location near 10th and Dubois Streets and arrived to find flames coming from two sides of the building. The fire was brought under control and personnel remained on the scene for an extended period to clean up and avoid hotspots restarting. There were no reported injuries and a damage estimate was not given. A cause was also not given.
