A local man was arrested on multiple charges Friday night by Lawrenceville Police. 20 year old Jayce Pickett of Lawrenceville has been preliminarily charged with Aggravated Assault, Domestic Battery and Interference with the Reporting of Domestic Battery. No other arrest details were given in the report. Pickett was being held pending a detention hearing in the Lawrence County Jail. The Lawrence County Sheriffs Department picked up a wanted Indiana man Friday. 34 year old Brent Banta of Vincennes was charged with Failure to Appear in Court. He was being held on that charge in the Lawrence County Jail.
