Marshall County Purdue Extension will be hosting a Maple Syrup Quality Control Program geared toward maple syrup production. The program will be held on November 7, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Gallery on West, 202 West Street in Argos. The cost for the program is $20, payable at the door.
The Maple Syrup Quality Control Program includes education on the use of tools in the syrup process, understanding improper tool use on syrup quality, guided tastings of high-quality syrup, and taste and discussion of syrups with off flavors to explore quality nuances.
