A Plymouth man was arrested for driving while suspended after Officer Fisher with the Plymouth Police Department observed him driving on Columbus Drive and knew he was suspended.

Monday evening, just after 7, Officer Fisher was on patrol and saw 39-year-old Jorge Terrones of Mier Street in Plymouth driving.  Terrones failed to come to a complete stop at Columbus and Jefferson Street, so Officer Fisher initiated a traffic stop, but Terrones didn’t stop until he was at the intersection of Lincolnway East and Kingston Road.

Terrones was taken into custody, transported to the Marshall County Jail, and booked in at 7:29 p.m. for driving while suspended with a prior. His cash bond was posted at 9 p.m. that same day, and he was released on bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
