The Vincennes City Council Monday voted to preliminarily approve a five-year tax abatement proposal for Ewing Printing.
Representatives of the business were on hand to provide information on the plan to invest around $800,000 in new equipment for the location at 516 Vigo Street. The request had been reviewed previously.
With the preliminary approval given, a public hearing will be scheduled at a later council session before final approval is given.
