The Illinois State Police (ISP) Wednesday arrested 39 year old Chance Queen of Bridgeport on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. He was taken to the Lawrence County Jail and was released with a notice to appear in court. Lawrenceville Police arrested 2 men Wednesday. 45 year old Derrick Scott was charged with Aggravated Battery, Theft Under $300 and Obstructing Identification. No other arrest details were given in the report. He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and being held pending a detention hearing. 25 year old Raymond Godfrey of Lawrenceville was charged with Aggravated Battery. He was also found to be wanted on an out of county warrant. He was also booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held on that warrant.
