The United Way of Knox County has selected Scott Charleston of Vincennes as the new director for the agency.
He was most recently the assistant store manager of the Vincennes Lowes location.
Charleston was picked for the position because of his experience in leadership, operations, customer service, business management and strong background in marketing, public relations and community service.
He is married with two children.
Charleston will also head the United Way of Crawford County (IL) and begin his new duties with the United Way on Monday, April 7th.
