Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop reports that two men were recently given prison terms during appearances in Lawrence County Circuit Court.
38-year-old Dean Clay of Robinson was charged with Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, a Class 1 Illinois Felony and was sentenced to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) to be followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release.
41-year-old Christopher Howder of Lawrenceville was charged with Failure to Report to a Penal Institution, a Class 3 Illinois Felony and was sentenced to 2 years in the IDOC to run consecutive to his current state sentence. The sentences will be followed by 6 months of mandatory supervised release.
