A Knox County Indiana man is among those pardoned by President Donald Trump after being charged in connection with the January 6th capitol insurrection in Washington D.C.
Around 1500 people were arrested that day. Some were charged with violent crimes.
Jonathan Sanders Sr. of Vincennes was charged with a misdemeanor for entering and remaining at a restricted building or grounds without authority and disorderly conduct on capitol grounds.
He entered the capitol and took pictures and videos inside.
Sanders did complete 60 hours of community service, paid a $500 fine and was released from probation 2 years early.
He was appreciative of the presidential action, but did admit to the consequences of breaking the law.
