Thrive West Central’s Housing Division will host an informational session for housing developers at 10 a.m. March 26 at the Vigo County History Center Auditorium, located on the third floor, to discuss potential opportunities related to regional READI 2.0 and Lilly Blight funding.
A virtual option will also be available.
While no funding has yet been awarded, Thrive West Central has been actively engaged in preliminary conversations and expects an announcement soon. The session will also serve as an opportunity to gather prospective regional housing projects that could benefit communities across the five-county service area.
“Our goal is to ensure that our region is prepared to move quickly once an official announcement is made,” Ryan Keller, Thrive CEO said. “Collecting project ideas now will help position our communities for success.”
All projects under consideration must be housing-related and located within the region’s five counties – Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo. Housing developers and community partners are encouraged to attend and learn more about emerging opportunities that may support regional development efforts.
The Vigo County History Center is located at 929 Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN, 47807. To view the session via Zoom, visit https://bit.ly/4lu4spc.
