The forecast is calling for dry, breezy conditions throughout the remainder of the week with no appreciable rain and relative humidity levels in the 25 to 35% range. These types of conditions are ideal for the creation of flash fires. Multiple firefighting agencies were called out Monday evening to battle a large field fire in Gibson County Indiana. about 15 to 20 acres of land caught fire between Somerville and Oakland City.
