The National Weather Service says that a hard freeze is expected Monday night across all of the WAKO listening area in southeastern Illinois and southwestern Indiana. Temperatures are forecast to drop into the middle to lower 20s throughout the region. Precautions should be taken to protect sensitive, early outdoor vegetation.
