Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop has announced the sentencings of two local subjects recently in Lawrence County Circuit Court.
39 year old Hubert "Paul" Bennett of Lawrenceville was sentenced to 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) with 6 months of mandatory supervised release. He had been charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 Illinois felony, and violated his probation.
39 year old Jessica Tracy of Lawrenceville was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class 4 Illinois Felony, and violated her probation. She was given 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections to be followed by up to 6 months of mandatory supervised release.
