GIANT fm News and the Lawrence County Post were informed that the fire chiefs of Lawrence County issued an outdoor burning ban starting Monday, September 8 until further notice. The move was due to continued dry conditions.
Campfires and cooking fires within burn circles are allowed, but no outdoor trash burning.
